Anna Weinroth Ward, is the sustainability manager for HCA, a provider of healthcare services in 20 states, and is chairman of HCA’s Waste Stream Task Force. She works across business units to identify and implement enterprise-wide sustainability solutions in support of HCA’s sustainability plan. Anna is a subject matter expert for HCA’s pharmaceutical waste program and addresses implementation, compliance and improvements in pharmaceutical waste for HCA acute and non-acute facilities. She also has responsibilities for sustainability in other areas including regulated medical waste, recycling, municipal solid waste and mercury reduction. She is a member of HCA’s Ebola emergency preparedness team and designed HCA’s process for handling Ebola waste. Anna is certified in healthcare compliance. Anna received her JD from George Mason University School of Law and her BA from American University.
