Samantha Yager is the Recycling Coordinator for the City of Columbia, SC. Her work in the Solid Waste Division has focused on the conversion from bins to carts, a new recycling education program, and is looking to expand recycling beyond the curbside. She is a mentor for the South Carolina Green Steps School program and serves on the board for the South Carolina chapter of American Public Works Association. Samantha graduated from the University of South Carolina with BA in Public Relations and is currently pursuing her Master of Mass Communication degree at USC.
