Richard L. Knight is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Knight Waste Services; a family owned, medium-sized residential collections company that operates 26 CNG powered ASL trucks which service approximately 94,000 households weekly in Fort Worth, Texas. As COO, Richard's responsibilities include driver oversight and management, DOT and contract compliance, as well as, acting as a customer service liaison between Knight Waste and the Solid Waste Division for the City of Fort Worth. He has nearly 20 years of transportation management experience while employed at J.B. Hunt Transport Dallas, Texas, Trans-States Lines Fort Smith, Arkansas, and USA Truck Van Buren, Arkansas. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors for the Fort Worth Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, where he is Vice-Chairman, in addition to, serving on the Implementation Committee of the Blue Zones Group (a well-being initiative) in Fort Worth, Texas. He is the father of four (Bryttnee’, Richard Rashaud, Phyllicia, Destiny) and the proud grandfather to Zariah and Paris.
