Barnes Johnson is the Director of the Office of Resource Conservation and Recovery. This Office is responsible for promoting resource conservation through sustainable materials management, ensuring safe management of solid and hazardous waste and cleaning up environmental contamination at hazardous waste management facilities. Throughout Barnes’s 30 years of federal service, he has served in a number of positions across the Agency. He holds Masters degrees in Wildlife and Fisheries Management and Applied Statistics.
