Curtis Dorwart is the Vocational Products Marketing Manager for Mack Trucks, Inc. and has commercialization responsibilities for the Mack Granite, TerraPro, Titan by Mack and LR model trucks. Dorwart also serves as the product spokesperson to the trade media for Mack vocational trucks. Dorwart received his engineering degree from Lafayette College and is a member of SAE International. He holds several professional endorsements, including certified project management professional (PMP) and the ASE Master Truck Technician certification. Dorwart has been in the trucking industry for more than 35 years, starting in the business as a truck mechanic. He has been active in many aspects of the business, including service, warranty, customer support, dealer technical support and marketing. Prior to his current role, Dorwart served in several senior engineering roles at Mack, including lead engineer for major chassis projects that implemented new technology platforms such as the Mack MP7 diesel engine, V-MAC IV electronic architecture and new cab and interior projects for Mack Granite and Pinnacle models. Most recently, Dorwart served as a Product Manager in product planning for Mack low cab forward models with key focus on the refuse industry and the emerging areas surrounding alternative fuels.
