Mike leads Casella’s organics group where he and the rest of his team develop and implement sustainable solutions for the responsible management of organic residuals. Prior to this role, Mike gained a keen understanding of the operational and fiscal challenges and rewards of providing services and solutions for organics as Casella’s director of operations, as a division manager and as a product sales representative. Mike’s strengths come from a combination of personal interests in conservation, a comprehensive education, and an assortment of professional experiences. Mike has his B.S in Natural Resource Management from Cornell University. Since earning his degree, he has accumulated over 24 years of professional experience serving as a landscape foreman, a wildlife biologist with a national non-profit conservation organization and with Casella. He has always enjoyed the outdoors and is an avid skier and hiker.
