Dr. David Post is IBM's Global Enterprise Government Leader, with responsibility for helping define IBM's strategy, selecting investment priorities, and collaborating with clients to develop innovative solutions to business and public policy challenges. David also leads IBM's Smarter Waste Management business globally. Previously, David served as an Executive Manager on IBM's Global Smarter Cities team. Prior to that, David was IBM's Global Offering Lead for Sustainability Strategy and Deputy Lead for IBM’s Economic Development Strategy Practice in North America. In the context of these roles, David has worked with senior leaders from the public sector and private sectors on engagements focused on economic competitiveness, sustainability, innovation, and strategic performance improvement. A recognized subject matter expert, David frequently speaks about these topics at high level conferences around the world. David holds a PhD from Georgetown University and is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University.
