Anthony Henson joined Heil Environmental in 2007 as Director of North American Operations where he managed the Heil flagship manufacturing operation for 4 years. In this period he led the factory innovation to include world class manufacturing and production processes. He also spent 2 years in National Account Sales roles, developing key strategic accounts under the ESG brands.
In his current role as Director of Mobile Products, he is instrumental in leading the development and launch of Heil’s highly successful and innovative mobile refuse products. Product innovation is a key driver of Heil Environmental success with new product launches such as Odyssey/Curotto Automated Front Loader, CNrG tailgate, and DuraPack Rapid Rail Automated Side Loader releases in the last 12 months.
As the leader of the Heil Product Development and Management groups, his teams focus is Product Life Cycle Management (launching innovative new products, retiring old products), Profitability Management (value-based products that aid customers to make more profit), Market/Competitor Analysis/Response, and providing Heil Dealers and Sales team with the information and tools they need to be successful.
Anthony obtained Bachelor of Science degrees in Operations Management and Marketing from the University of North Alabama in 1993, and completed his MBA from Webster University in 2003. He is married to Lea Henson and has three children; Molly Ann (20), Megan (18) and Mallory (15). He enjoys spending time with his family, watching Tennessee football, attending his daughter’s sporting events.
